Dear Summer Productions is a full-service video production company based in Washington, D.C., with active crews in New York City, Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Richmond. Our motion work spans documentary filmmaking, brand films, commercial production, corporate event coverage, nonprofit storytelling, law firm and home services marketing, and cinematic editorial — produced for clients ranging from national networks and federal contractors to local agencies, municipalities, and independent directors.
Every engagement is handled end-to-end: directing, cinematography, multi-camera event coverage, professional location audio, lighting design, drone and aerial capture, interview production, and complete post — editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and final delivery for broadcast, web, and social. We bring our own gear, our own crew, and a producer-led workflow built for organizations that need video that holds up under scrutiny.

Where We Work
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., with regular production days across Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Annandale, Tysons), Maryland (Bethesda, Silver Spring, Prince George's County, the Eastern Shore, and Ocean City), Richmond, and New York City. We travel nationally and internationally for documentary and event work — past production days include Singapore, Panama, and across the U.S. Southeast and Midwest.
